Petrosea has been involved in the development of Indonesia s considerable oil & gas, mining and infrastructure industries. Petrosea is also operating in Southeast Asia Region with some challenging projects.

Due to our rapid growth at present, we are currently taking applicants for below position:

MINING ENGINEER – FLEET MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

Deploy and maintain the company s mining technology and systems to enable the Mining Business Line to achieve its plan by ensuring that the selected system is administered in a manner that delivers controlled and planned outcomes with deliberate intent.

Requirements:

1. Min. Bachelor degree preferably in Mining Engineering
2. Min. 2 years previous experience as a Mining Engineer especially for running dispatch mining system
3. Fluent in English written and verbal
4. Good analysis and problem solving skill
5. Good understanding of Mining Business Processes
6. Must be proficient in Excel, Power Point, Report Preparation and Presentation

Responsibilities:

1. Assist in the deployment of the companies selected fleet management system.
2. Undertake daily management of Mine Production Information and reporting systems.
3. Work closely with ICT department and vendors to ensure system issues are resolved in a timely fashion.
4. Review daily, weekly and monthly production & cost reports from the fleet management system to ensure the reports are free from errors.
5. Monitor of fleet management system running well any time and can make decision to efficiency of production.
6. Cooperation with operation to running Fleet Management System properly.

ENGINEERING SUPERINTENDENT

Control, monitor and supervise Business Mining Process by variance in the Project mining operations to ensure production is achieved in accordance with Project parameters, Project schedule and budget and in compliance with Petrosea and Project safety and environmental policy and guidelines.

Requirements:

1. Min. Bachelor degree in Mining Engineer.
2. Fluent in English, written and verbal.
3. Good leadership and communication skill.
4. Willing to be placed in all mining project location.
5. May be required to work flexible hours to meet Project requirements.

Responsibilities:

1) Provide leadership and direction to all mining engineering staff to ensure the safest and efficient mining operations to achieve production targets.
2) Work with Senior Mining Engineer to develop weekly, monthly and shutdown schedules for inclusion in the BMP plans by the Senior Mining Engineer.
3) Assist with the implementation of the BMP system through leadership of technical assistants, production of accurate and timely reports, and troubleshooting problems encountered with the system.
4) Responsible to implement long term mine plans and short term detailed mine execution plans at all levels using the BMP process and to provide the necessary production parameters needed by BMP on a continuous feedback basis to enable short term control to achieve the long term mine plan.
5) Assist the Mining Engineer to develop and update mine plans and production schedules in accordance with project criteria.
6) Implement and manage the mining operations in accordance with the mine plan to achieve production schedules.
7) Prepare timely and accurate information on project progress for inclusion in progress claims and reports prepared by the Senior Mining Engineer.
8) Organize, coordinate and manage production meetings internally and with the Client and arrange for distribution of minutes.
9) Responsible for the optimization and utilization of mining equipment by the Mining Supervisor to achieve production targets.
10) Ensure smooth coordination between Mining operations and Maintenance to maximize availability and utilization of all mining equipment.
11) Monitor and manage the performance of all mining engineering staff.
12) Assist the Project Manager in the training and mentoring of personnel as required by the company.
13) Assist the Project Manager in promoting the development of teamwork.
14) Promote and develop an open ethical work environment.

GRADUATE MINING ENGINEER

• Support and assist mining engineer in implementing short and long term mine plans, schedules and other mining engineering information that effectively supports the mining operations in order to gain experience as well as achieving performance within project criteria.
• The graduate engineer will gain valuable experience in all disciplines of mine engineering based on a pre-determined rotation program.

Requirements:

1. Fresh graduate from Mining Engineering or Geology.
2. Willing to learn and undertake on the job training.
3. Must be prepared to develop industry skills and willing to take instructions from others.
4. Fluent in English written and spoken.
5. Willing to be assigned in all project mining locations.
6. Self-motivated, good interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

1) Assist Mining Engineers to produce effective short to long term plans and mine designs in compliance with standard systems and procedures.
2) Assist with the implementation of the BMP (Business Mining Petrosea) system through leadership of technical assistants, production of accurate and timely reports, and troubleshooting problems encountered with the system.
3) Work with the surveyors to contribute to the compilation of monthly progress claims.
4) Assist with the accurate and timely production of the monthly, weekly and daily reports.
5) Work to attain a very high proficiency in the use of mine planning software.
6) Contribute to the compilation of tenders.

MARKETING & STRATEGY SUPERINTENDENT – Jakarta

Identify potential business development opportunities and design in Mining and oversee feasibility studies to assess their viability.

Requirements:

• Min. Bachelor Degree in Mining Engineering
• Having minimal 5 (five) years exposure in Mining industry
• Min. 5 years experience in similiar field
• Knowledge of legal & administration aspects related Mining government regulations and tender process
• Good communication and networking capability

Responsibilities:

1. Identifying business opportunities and evaluating opportunities in mining areas such as mergers and acquisitions, alliances, and business deals.
2. Monitor and control market reserach or analysis of projects; evaluate findings, prepare reports, and make recommendations to senior management about the viability of alternative opportunities.
3. Establish long term professional relationships with potential clients, customers, and partners (for example in government or industry associations) to promote the organisation s products and services.
4. Conduct meetings and negotiations with potential clients and business partners to pursue business opportunities and protect the organisation s business interest.
5. Refer sales leads and customer feedback to appropriate contacts within the organisation and liaise with other functional and operational area members to ensure that these referrals are followed-up promptly.
6. Lead, direct, evaluate and develop a team of business development analyst professionals to ensure the projects are conducted credibly and that recommendations and reports are accurate and timely.
7. Lead, direct, evaluate and review work done by mining estimator to get most accurate and competitive price to be submitted to potential client but still giving company a proper margin as stated in company policy.

MINE ENGINEERING MANAGER

Plan, develop, implement and improve mine planning system, procedures and resources in order to support mining projects in term of technical services expertise for optimizing company s mining operation.

Requirements:

1. Min. Bachelor degree, preferably in mining engineering.
2. With at least 10 years mine experience and minimum 3 years in managerial position.
3. Excellent communication both in English & Indonesian.
4. Outstanding analysis skills.
5. Strong capability / exposure to mine planning softwares.

Responsibilities:

1. Control, monitor and liaise with Project Managers to foster efficient mining operations through competent Technical services skills and disciplines.
2. Control, monitor and liaise with project manager in communicate ideas, systems, designs, procedures and standards in mining operation to ensure the adherence of those new policies.
3. Develop and monitor monthly reporting format for the Mining business line and coordinate the timely completion by all Project Managers to ensure monthly reporting timeliness and conform with standard format.
4. Provide support to all tenders / proposals prepared by the Mining business line to ensure the reliability of all tenders / proposals prior to submission.
5. Coach and mentor of technical support staff and key national staff in order to assist them understand and manage the technical implications within contracts.
6. Monitor, support and liaise with HR department to facilitate the graduate development program in order to participate in developing new talents.

MINING SUPERVISOR

Monitor, control and supervise the mining production resources to achieve the production targets and objectives of the project in accordance with the project parameters and guidelines.

Requirements:

1. Fluent in English, written and verbal
2. Familliar with mining software
3. Having at least 4 years of experience in the similar role (as Mining Supervisor)
4. Certified in POP
5. Understand the SHE aspects of mining operations
6. Good communication and leadership skill
7. Willing to be placed in all company location
8. Excellent computer skill
9. May be required to work flexible hours to meet Project requirements

Responsibilities:

1. Responsible to implement short term detailed mine execution plans at the position level using the BMP process and to provide the necessary production [arameters needed by BMP on a continuous feedback basis to enable short term control to achieve the long term mine plan.
2. Surpervise the performance of mining foremen, operators, technicians and unskilled personnel in the mining operations in the shift by shift BMP process using short term variance.
3. Identify the development and training needs of the mining foremen, operators, technicians and unskilled personnel in the mining operations for the benefit of the Project Manager.
4. Coordinate and supervise Mining production and other mining team to ensure smooth operations at loading points.
5. Control production on an hour by hour basis and prepare timely and accurate reports on project progress as requires by the project.
6. Assist Mining Superintendent in liaise and co-ordinate with maintenance departement to optimize and maximize mining equipment availability and utilization in achieving production target.
7. Minimise axposure to personnel and the environment by identifying hazards and risks during the operation phase of the work packages and implement all safety procedures, rules and regulations in accordance with the Safety Management Plan.

OPERATION FOREMAN

• To supervise & monitore all lifting and transport activities
• To provide HSE leadership to all people who work under and around you
• Identify any equipment defects ensusring defects are repoted as per policy
• Ensure all operators complete pre-start check sheet, closely monitor these sheets
• Ensure that only properly qualified & authorised personnel operate equipment
• Identifiying training requirements of operators
• Ensure that all equipment is used in accordance with its inherent design capability
• Choose on the most efficient and cost effective method of moving materials
• Record accurately on each work order equipment and labour usage

Requirement:

• Diploma degree in any disciplines
• Have 5 years experience in lifting and oil & gas industry
• Has HSE Certificate, lifting equipment certificated
• Attention to detail and able to work extended hours to meet objectives
• Must be available for on call duty in emergency situation (if required)
• Fluent in English both oral and written
• Able to work both independently and team work
• Have a good personality

Responsibilities:

1. Attend Pre-start and HSE Meetings
2. Choose on the most efficient and cost effective method of moving materials
3. Plan and execute all activities in a safe and efficient manner
4. Ensure the all equipment is used in accordance with its inherent design capability
5. Ensure equipment defects are reported and repaired
6. Ensure equipment is not operated with a known defect that is or could be detrimental to safe operation
7. Identify training requirements of subordinates
8. Maintain a high level of house keeping
9. Maintain full compliance to POSB Waste Segregation Policy
10. Reduces energy consumption in area of responsibility by eliminating the unnecessary use of resources; water and power
11. Identify any environmental issues in area of area responsibility (regular audit schedule)

OPERATION SUPERINTENDENT

To effectively supervise all supply base resources in the field to ensure that the supply base is managed in a safe, efficient and profitable manner and all client contractual requirements are met. And to provide HSE leadership to all people who work or operate from the supply base.

Requirement:

• Bachelor degree in any disciplines
• Have 5 years in lifting industry in oil & gas company
• Have strong leadership and character and able to manage, motivate chief ordinate by respect and avoid favouritsm
• Understanding of HSE principle using common sense practices in all aspect of base Operation
• Has good personality and excellent communication skill
• Fluent in English both oral and written
• Strong PC skills using various software

Responsibilities:

1. To manage and provide leadership to supply Base Supervisor controlling on a day to day basis all labour, direct or subcontract, and all non-labour resources in order to achieve the daily work requirements of the day.
2. Assist the supply Base Management team to promote and develop team work.
3. Ensure supply base supervisors plan and manage that all necessary resources are available at site in order to meet the work schedule through regular site meetings and development of the daily plan.
4. Understanding the basics of the supply base budget and ensure that costs do not exceed budget.
5. Provide input into the Daily Plan, weekly progress and management reports.
6. Initiates, develops and assists with the implementation of each task and equipment utilization to improve effciency.
7. Assist the Supply Base HSE Superintendent in actively promoting a HSE culture and awareness.
8. Provide a safe and healthy work environment by ensuring tha pertinent topics are discussed at daily pre-start meetings and weekly toolbox meetings.
9. Assist the supply base Manager to communicate, both written and verbally, with senior management, supply base personnel and the various Cllient s to ensure an open and ethical work environment.
10. Monitor and manage the performance of all supply base operations staff.
11. Documents and records field variations and client instructions.

OPERATION SUPERVISOR

• Multi task job oriented
• Fluent in English both oral and written

SENIOR WATER MANAGEMENT ENGINEER

Engineer, Monitor, Control and supervise all water management works, produce accurate and complex engineering and cost calculations of dewatering and documents to ensure all output are accurate, consistent and in timely manner conform with international Engineering and Safety Standards and codes.

Requirements:
• Min. Bachelor degree in Engineering
• Min. 4 years experiences in Mining Engineering, specialist in Water Management (Dewatering) or Fuild Mechanics Engineering (pumping of other Fluids)
• Work extended hours to meet Engineering deadlines
• Familiar with Civil Engineering Software

Responsibilities:

1. Minimise exposure to personnel and the environment by identifiying hazards and risks during the operation phase of the work packages and implement all safety procedures, rules and regulations and statutory regulations in accordarnce with the Safety Management Plan.
2. Monitor and review all water management work and document to ensure all work adheres to international Engineering standards and codes as well as company s management system.
3. Operate and control water management software packages and evaluate output to suggesting changes and improvement where needed.
4. Responsible for pump & pipe analysis to make recommendations to match the different Mine Site applications.
5. Responsible for the complete design of each ptp Mine site Water site Management Plan.
6. Responsible to work with our PTP Site engineering teams and clients for approval of Water Management Plans including the timely issuing of permits, compensation for sedimentation dams.
7. Provide technical support and technical guidance to associate engineer and personnel in order to conduct transfer of knowledge.
